Pastor Craig Krueger is continuing his excellent series of Bible teachings, moving to the restoration literature of the OT.  Both Sundays and Wednesday are at Sojourn Church in Minneapolis.  Craig describes his teaching series as follows:

This semester at Sojourn we will explore how the Jewish community of the second Temple period survived, stumbled and hoped in the environment of Persian universalism. As we see them adapt biblical truth to a new situation, we will get insights into how we might minister in our post-modern setting. We will examine Chronicles, Haggai, Zechariah, Ezra and Nehemiah, Malachi and Joel.  Join us Sunday mornings at 10 am.

Our Wednesday night seminar will explore the pre-exilic Minor Prophets. At the peak of Israel and Judah's power, corruption and syncretism crept in. Hosea and Amos descend with a lion's roar of judgment. Jonah, in contrast, was captive to the nationalism and racism of his era. Micah speaks a word of judgment, but also points to the future hope of the people of God. Later on, after northern Israel falls in judgment, Nahum, Zephaniah and Habakkuk stand up and speak judgment and hope as Judah stands alone in the midst of the international powers. From this crucible come key insights on the life of faith. Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30.
